In the oasis of your private garden, where privacy is given by the landscape, immerse yourself in your private swimming pool, heated in the colder months, or regenerate with a hot outdoor shower.

Our sensory gardens, designed to stimulate all five senses and immersed in a rural landscape, allow you to slow down, concentrate and find balance.

Here, your senses will be the protagonists of activities and experiences.

The interior furnishings are inspired by the natural essences of this territory: vegetable fibers and marsh plants, such as  cruccuri plant, from which the roof is made, or rush; the woody essences, such as olive and oak, the mineral elements, such as iron from the nearby Montiferru mountain, sand and clay, but are also inspired by the animals of this area, the sheep and the horse.

These elements come to life thanks to the passion and creativity of Sardinian artists that our Lodges want to tell and pay homage to.

In our Lodges every detail has been thought of to guarantee a naturally unique stay, which combines experience and sustainability.

Sustainable Luxury in sardinia: The Excellence of the Is Cheas Design Team

Nothing was left to chance in the design of these suites: the sun’s exposure  from dawn to dusk, the breeze of the prevailing winds, respect for the soil and homage to a thousand-year-old land rich in history, archeology and culture, Sardinia.

The architectural firm that accompanied the owners of Is Cheas from the first phase of the project is the Gutierrez & Uribe studio, founded by Imelda Uribe and Luis Gutierrez in 1993 and based in Wellington (Palm Beach county), Florida. They tell us their idea of ​​architecture, and the passion they employ for each of their projects:

“The importance of living close to nature is reflected in each project, always with respect of the land and environment, knowing that each place built is on sacred land”.

“We met Imelda and Luis in 2018 when we went to visit them at their estate in Wellington, Florida for the famous WEF World Equestrian festival, one of the most famous international equestrian festivals which takes place every year between December and April. We immediately shared a passion for nature, landscape and horses” say the owners of Is Cheas, Francesca Ledda and Juan Carlos Ruiz. “For the next three years we returned to Wellington and they came to Sardinia twice. They fell in love with this land, its thousand-year history, its villages, its landscapes, its architecture. When we asked them to help us create a second phase of our project they were thrilled! A team of local professionals also accompanies us in this project: passionate engineers and agronomists; landscape architects. The study of sensory gardens, respect for the soil and water consumption are a fundamental and central element in the design of Is Cheas and in the experience of well-being in nature that we want to give to our guests”.

Sustainable food and wine experience in Sardinia 

The expert chefs of this extraordinary wine resort will delight you every evening at the Is Cheas restaurant with a high-level food and wine experience.
A dinner with tasting menu awaits you to discover the flavors and best wines of Sardinia. Most of the raw materials are produced locally or by the farm itself and the DOC and IGT wines are produced from the company’s vineyards.

Every morning breakfast is served in a bioclimatic pergola made of glass, surrounded by gardens and overlooking the swimming pool and the vineyard, with fresh handmade pastries and bread.
