Italian cuisine is renowned all over the world thanks to the variety and quality of the raw materials available. There is not a single Italian cuisine but many Italian cuisines, depending on the regions or localities.
During our cooking classes you will learn how to make fresh hand made pasta, ravioli, gnocchi and other dishes during your stay with us, a unique pleasure to share with your family and friends once you return home!

Traditional Sardinian Recipes

Sardinia has a rich and varied food and wine tradition. A cuisine that changes according to the locality of the Island but which is united by determined and sincere flavors. Sardinia is home to many traditional products of the highest quality: from cheeses, as Sardinian pecorino, to spiny artichoke, saffron, the famous fish eggs bottarga to DOC and IGT wines. A specialty of the Island are hand made bread and fresh hand made pastas, but also the fregula and the malloreddusu. The main courses of meat and fish are probably the tastiest of traditional cuisine.

Gourmet cooking

At  Is Cheas restaurant we like to experiment and create new recipes using local raw materials. Our menus combines the fresh and organic vegetables from our garden with the tastiest local meats and fish. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, pool and vineyards, enchant yourself with a menu carefully designed by our talented chefs.  Everyday our chefs make fresh pasta like ravioli and culurgiones, a typical regional pasta.

During your stay at is Cheas, you can also enjoy a Vineyard Tour & Wine Tasting experience.

Our wine tour & tasting

Cost: 50 euros per person/minimun 2 people
Juan Carlos, one of the owners, a viticulture and enologist, organizes Wine Tour & tasting where guests can discover all the steps that lie behind each passionate year of production and the vinifications process. After the vineyard tour you will enjoy a guided tasting of Is Cheas wine labels paired with each course of the tasting dinner menu.

Cost per person: 50 euros/minimum 2 people. Upon reservation

Our cooking classes are tailor-made, which means that the course can be organize according to your personal interests and curiosities. We will take you on a learning path through the best traditional Sardinian pasta and ravioli. You will discover how to make them, cook them and dress them and after the class you can even eat them! Our courses are suitable for both adults and families with children.
